On October 31, the whole school wore our costumes to school. We started it off as a normal/regular day. The day before (Oct. 30), the Kindergarteners wore their costumes. Then at 2:00, on Oct. 31, all the classes went down to the gym and sat in lines with their class. We were called up byt separate classes and did two laps around the gym. There were four judges from Grade 7/8 (Student Council) that watched the classes walk around them and chose which costume was the funniest, the scariest and most original. After they chose the kids' names or costume names, the kids got to pick a prize. Grace was Catness from the Hunger Games (the movie series). Faith was a ninja girl. In Grade 2, 2012, the chose ones got to be in the newspaper (Faith, Dylan and Kate).

The costume parade is about wearing your Halloween costume. On Oct. 31, we walked around the gym and the judges picked whose costume was the funniest, original and scariest. Then, some people got a prize. After, the Gr. 5/6/7/8's played games and danced. The Gr. 1/2/3/4's watched a movie. We watched Madagascar. There was a cute fluff ball wiggling his tail.
