Dress as a Famous Pair
On February 24, we had "Dress as a Famous Pair". Keira and Hailey dressed as cops and robbers. Keira was a robber and Hailey was a cop. We had fun dressing up as a cop and a robber. In Keira's bag of stuff there was a piggy bank, jewelry and money. Hailey had lots too. She had a hat, a toy gun, handcuffs and a baton.

(February was "I Love to Read" month. Our theme this year carried on with our year long school focus of a Circle of Friends. We had lots of fun, with Being Part of the Team (dressing in our favourite jersey), a Pajama Party, The Key to a Good Friend (filling in a paper "key" with what makes a great friend, or how we are a good friend to others), and Dress as a Famous Pair (kids could find a partner, or dress by themselves to represent a famous pair...we had some great costumes, including Salt & Pepper, Betty & Wilma, a doctor & patient...and my colleague and I as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!). We also filled in book reports, and the family group that read the most books won a popcorn party! It was a great month! ~ Mrs. Tervoort)
