Brant-Argyle School
We went on trails looking for flowers and plants. We were in grade groups. We had a long recess. I played Mantracker. Hailey, Miles and I were the last people

I went to the chickens. They were awesome. A few people got eggs and still have them. We watched and carried them. One pooped on the picnic table and people touched it for some reason/ One stepped on the dump, and the one who stepped on it was a chicken.

(This was a great day, arranged by our principal and the Brant-Argyle School principal, for the K to Grade 4 students from Balmoral School and all of the students, K to Grade 8 from Brant-Argyle. Special guests came in to help all of the students as we explored the Prime Meridian Trail that runs alongside the Brant-Argyle School, and discovered some of the natural plants that grow there. We then enjoyed an outdoor lunch and some playtime with our new friends. In the afternoon, we learned about plantain weed that can help heal poison ivy or itchy mosquito bites, as well as pineapple weed, that can be made into tea or put in our bath. What a wonderful experience! ~ Mrs. Tervoort)
