Our leader was Tim. We did 5 activities. They are called Critter Dipping, Marsh Walk, Eco Games, Falcons, Owls and Hawks, and Fall Changes. Don't eat rosehip berries or else you'll have itchy bum. We caught big snails. We caught baby shrimp. We caught dragonfly larvae and water boatmen.

We did five different subjects. They were Critter Dipping, Marsh Walk, Hawks, Owls and Falcons, and Fall Changes! We also went on the roof. At Critter Dipping we caught snails and water bugs. At Marsh Walk we talked about plants and animals. At Eco Games we played three different games. They were Hawks and Ground Squirrels, Buffalos and Wolves, and Pikes and Minnows. In Hawks, Owls and Falcons, Tim showed us some wing spans of some birds. In Fall Changes, we went up on the roof and talked about migration!

(Ecology Day was a day for all the Grade 4 students of Interlake School Division to go to Oak Hammock Marsh and learn more about our environment. Fortunately, our Gr. 3 students were able to attend as well! ~ Mrs. Tervoort)
